Job Summary
The Risk Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the financial stability and operational integrity of Rize. This position involves overseeing risk management frameworks, approving key financial transactions, and fostering a culture of compliance and innovation. The Risk Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine policies and mentor junior staff, contributing to the company’s growth and success.

Job Responsibilities

• Exercise authority to approve daily transactions, ensuring alignment with risk policies.
• Lead and actively engage in multiple areas of risk management, including credit, underwriting, and collections.
• Develop and update underwriting, collection, and approval policies to enhance operational efficiency.
• Report team activities, achievements, and challenges to senior management, ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Provide mentorship and professional development support to junior analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in risk management, with expertise in credit, collections, or underwriting.
• Proven ability to design and implement effective risk management frameworks.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with a focus on data-driven outcomes.
• Experience with technology-driven tools and AI/ML methodologies for risk assessment.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with the FinTech or financial services industry is a plus.

• Accuracy and Timeliness of Approvals: Ensure high accuracy and quick turnaround times for approvals.
• Team Performance Metrics: Monitor and improve productivity, quality, and overall team performance.
